Custom Electrochemical Biosensor Development
Our biosensor design and fabrication service provides a complete pipeline from target specification to functional prototype delivery. We work with diagnostic startups, medical device companies, and academic groups to develop sensitive, label-free electrochemical detection platforms for biomarkers such as cancer antigens, cardiac markers, and infectious disease targets. Using screen-printed electrodes as the transducer substrate, we engineer surface chemistries optimized for high-specificity bioreceptor immobilization, including antibodies, aptamers, or enzymes. Our interdisciplinary team handles electrode layout, material selection, microfabrication, and iterative optimization of electrochemical parameters (cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy) to achieve the required sensitivity, selectivity, and stability. The final deliverable is a fully characterized sensor prototype with a detailed performance report, enabling seamless transition to point-of-care or wearable integration.
Service scope is defined collaboratively at project initiation, covering detection modality (amperometric, potentiometric, impedimetric), electrode format (single-use screen-printed, microelectrode array), and target analyte. We provide comprehensive documentation including fabrication protocols, surface chemistry details, and quality control data to support downstream validation and scale-up.
Our Biosensor Development Offering
Sensor Design & Material Selection
Select optimal electrode geometry, substrate (carbon, gold, platinum), and nanomaterial coatings based on target analyte and detection range. We provide rationale for material choices during design review.
Surface Functionalization & Bioreceptor Immobilization
Engineer reproducible surface chemistries (e.g., SAMs, polymer brushes) and immobilize antibodies, aptamers, or enzymes with controlled orientation to maximize binding capacity and signal-to-noise ratio.
Electrochemical Characterization & Prototype Delivery
Perform quantitative testing for sensitivity, limit of detection, linear range, selectivity against interferents, and batch-to-batch reproducibility. Deliver functional electrodes with performance report and fabrication guidelines.

Why Choose Our Biosensor Service
Comprehensive Material Selection
We evaluate carbon, gold, platinum substrates, and nanomaterial coatings (e.g., graphene, MXenes, metal nanoparticles) to match your analyte and matrix. Each material choice is documented with rationale.
Custom Surface Chemistry Optimization
We design and test SAMs, polymer layers, and crosslinking strategies to maximize bioreceptor orientation and binding capacity, achieving low detection limits and minimal fouling.
Iterative Performance Tuning
Multicycle feedback: we optimize sensor parameters basing on initial electrochemical data, adjusting electrode design, surface chemistry, or measurement conditions until targets are met.
Full Documentation & Technology Transfer
You receive fabrication protocols, QC results, and performance data sufficient to reproduce sensors in your lab or support scale-up discussions with manufacturing partners.
