Product Details
Size | 50 μL, 100 μL |
Alternative Names | Angiopoietin-2 (ANG-2), ANGPT2 |
Target Name | ANGPT2 |
Description | The ANGPT2 recombinant monoclonal antibody is produced via a precise process. B cells are isolated, and ANGPT2 antibody genes amplified and inserted into an expression vector. Host cells produce the antibody, which is purified using affinity chromatography. Specificity and functionality have been tested via ELISA. This meticulous production process ensures the antibody is reliable and effective for diverse research. |

Target Background
Function (From Uniprot) | Binds to TEK/TIE2, competing for the ANGPT1 binding site, and modulating ANGPT1 signaling. Can induce tyrosine phosphorylation of TEK/TIE2 in the absence of ANGPT1. In the absence of angiogenic inducers, such as VEGF, ANGPT2-mediated loosening of cell-matrix contacts may induce endothelial cell apoptosis with consequent vascular regression. In concert with VEGF, it may facilitate endothelial cell migration and proliferation, thus serving as a permissive angiogenic signal. |
